A good life can still be on autopilot.
You can have a career, people you love, a comfortable routine, and a life that looks perfectly fine from the outside. Yet somehow, the weeks begin to blur. You get through Monday, look forward to Friday, repeat the same weekend, and wonder where the time went.
Death By Monday exists for that moment of recognition. Not because your life is bad. Because a life worth living deserves more than being repeated without noticing.
Why I Created Death By Monday
I believe we rarely lose the richness of life in one dramatic moment. More often, we lose it in ordinary days we stop paying attention to. I created Death By Monday to challenge that pattern—to help us notice familiar routines, question the ones that no longer serve us, and choose experiences we’ll actually remember.
My background as a physical therapist has shaped the way I think about being able to participate in life. But this site isn’t about physical therapy or chasing a perfect version of yourself. It’s about using the life you have more intentionally.
What You’ll Find Here
This website is the practical side of the Death By Monday philosophy: ideas and carefully considered resources that help turn awareness into action.
EXPERIENCES — Do More Worth Remembering
Travel, adventures, hobbies, and new pursuits that break the sameness of another ordinary week.
CONNECTION — Be More Present With People
Shared activities and simple ways to spend meaningful time with your partner, family, and friends.
EVERYDAY UPGRADES — Make Room for More Living
Tools and ideas that can free up attention, time, and energy for the things that really matter.
You won’t find products recommended simply because they’re popular. A useful idea might cost nothing at all. When I do feature a product, service, or experience, the goal is to help you make a more intentional choice—not to give you another thing to own.
A Note About Affiliate Links
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you buy through one of those links, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Those links help support the website, but the purpose of the content comes first: offering ideas worth considering and resources that genuinely fit the Death By Monday mission. Affiliate relationships are disclosed where applicable.
You Don’t Need a Different Life. You Need to Experience More of Yours.
Start small. Take a different route. Try the hobby you’ve been putting off. Plan the day trip. Call the friend. Put down your phone and be fully present for an ordinary moment.
Notice. Interrupt. Experience. Remember.
That’s what it means to REFUSE AUTOPILOT.
